Lightfall; The story so far. Well what can I say. I started a Lightfall Graphic Novel and am still looking to get an agent. There was some interest in the screenplay from the former publisher of Starlog magazine who, has made the foray into film production. Nothing concrete has transpired but, we’re hoping. Anyway, Cleve’ has expressed interest in revamping the current website. Hopefully he’ll get on that, ’cause I’ve got plenty of illos ready to be seen. I guess it would also depend on his schedule “keeping fingers crossed”. I think that’s all I have at the present. If something earth shattering or unexpected happens, I’ll bring the news to you here first. In the mean time keep imagining and be good to each other.

As I wrote in the 4i worx blog, it’s been awhile since the site has been updated. I’ve been working on a small film project and have another one coming up shortly. I hope to make some kind of update soon, even if it’s just adding more character information and a script excerpt. There will be more soon. Maybe I should get the store up and running… Well, soon anyway.
Cleve-
We got a links page! It’s only a few, but more are on the way. Big shit coming soon.
Cleve-
It’s been a while since I posted anything, but tonight I added a little something to the site - a small series of random images that appear when the main site opens. (Check it out. Just hit the reload button on the main window.) I’m currently working on a few things, like prepping the movie and script books for sale, getting the posters online at cafe press and also getting ready to add an excerpt of about 35 pages of the script to the site. The biggest thing I’m working on right now is adapting our screenplay into a comic book script. Morgan is chomping at the bit to get started on the pencils, so I’d better get it done soon. More to come. Feel free to leave us a comment on any of the posts or drop me an email from the link on the site. Later.

As a matter of fact, I am in Germany. Berlin, to be exact. I am vacationing a bit AND doing some research for the afore mentioned sequel. A quick word on a lightfall sequel… What the hell does that mean?! A SEQUEL?! Nobody’s seen the first one yet! Well, a few people have and honestly that should mean very little to whoever’s reading this right now. Morgan and I have been living with lightfall for years now, and to us it’s all common knowledge; the world, the characters, the story, etc. But for most others, it’s just some vague concept that may or may not be understood. I keep getting nudged by a friend of mine to just post the whole script and let the chips fall where they may. I’m getting closer to doing that, but I am holding off right now until we hear back from a few people.
In the meantime, we are working on a comicstrip or online comicbook of the movie, LIGHTFALL. So, hold on a bit while we get this thing in motion.
Cleve-
As I write this, Cleve’ is probably already in Germany
and I’m holding down the LIGHTFALL fort. The new
images Cleve’ mentioned in his earlier blog are almost
done. I hope their met with enthusiasm.
Now, on to the future… Those of you who have
visited the site and are familiar with the screenplay,
know how special it is to both Cleve’ and I. We have
debated on how much information to release with
regards to the script. What to reveal, what not to
reveal is always a slippery slope. When a movie is
successful the powers that be often have one question
on their collective minds; “can we get a sequal?”
Well friends, I can tell you this, a sequal continuing
the saga of Hannah and Michael is a brewing. Why am I
mentioning this, you ask? I think it is very
important for you dear reader, site visitor, movie
fan, action junkie… Oops! Sorry. Okay, I’m back.
I think it is very important for everyone to know, WE,
Cleve’ and I are not one trick ponies. Now, I know
many of you may be of the opinion that sequals are
just poor imitations of their original countereparts,
and for the most part you would be right. But, I can
tell you the story Cleve’ and I are crafting for the
sequal is going t blow you all away!! Stay tuned.

Morgan’s working on some fantastic new images. I can’t wait to get them online for everyone to check out. He’s doing two sets: a set of really detailed pin-ups of the characters (wow… Baallllll…) and a small set of action shots. The first of the action series can be seen in the teaser. The new stuff should be online in a couple of days. Stay tuned!

I added a storyboard sequence yesterday and I think it looks pretty good. This is the first of at least three sequences we’ll be adding to the site. The current sequence is “the birth of satan” - the opening scenes in the LIGHTFALL script. The next sequence will be “the armageddon exhibition” - a major plot point revealed in the first act. And finally, “the dragonbrawl” - the main fight, between Michael and Lucifer, during the finale of LIGHTFALL. Let us know what you think of the storyboards and check back for more updates.

I had to put up a new start page. After talking to a few people, I found that the old “start” page was a little disorienting. Now we have a warning for the slow - broadband is best - some instructions for the uninitiated - you can drag the menu out of the way if you like - and a little blurb about what lightfall is so you’re not just poking around in the dark. I hope it’s helpful, at least until I work on an html site for those who just simply hate flash. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy and stop back from time to time because there’s more on the way.

Exciting news. Two more copies of the book have gone out. Actually hand delivered. The fourth will be in good hands by tomorrow. Okay, that doesn’t necessarily mean a whole lot, but it’s pretty exciting for Morgan and I. We haven’t gotten any feedback yet, but at least the book (and script) are in play. I understand that some of you may not know what I’m talking about, so I’ll explain. I better not. It’s too early. Suffice it say that the book and script are getting out to people and getting looked at. Keep your fingers crossed and we’ll keep you posted (in a vague sort of way).
